The Foundation for the Handicapped was founded in 1966 by the Wayne Rotary to provide long-term employment for developmentally disabled adults. The concept was to develop an employment program for these individuals that is SELF-SUSTAINING AND REQUIRES NO GOVERNMENT SUBSIDY.
